What places will we visit?
Gubongsan Mountain
Gubongsan Mountain in Jinan is famed for its nine rocky peaks that rise like guardians of the valley. With forest trails, sweeping views, and seasonal beauty from blossoms to autumn colors, it offers both adventure and serenity in the heart of Korea’s nature.
Yongdam Lake
Yongdam Lake is one of Korea’s largest artificial lakes, created by the Yongdam Dam in Jinan, Jeollabuk-do. Surrounded by gentle mountains and winding roads, the lake stretches wide and calm, blending into the horizon like a mirror of the sky. Its scenic drive offers breathtaking views in every season — cherry blossoms framing the water in spring, cool breezes in summer, fiery foliage in autumn, and quiet, misty mornings in winter.
Tapsa Temple
— One of Korea’s most unusual sites, hidden in a valley at the foot of Mount Maisan. Its defining feature is the hundreds of stone pagodas built by a single monk, Lee Gapyeong, more than a century ago. Varying in shape and height, these towers rise as if from the earth itself, creating a mystical atmosphere unlike any other temple in the country.
Awon Museum
— More than just a gallery — a true journey through time and art. Located among the hills of Wansan (Jeonbuk Wanju), this complex combines a traditional hanok house built over 250 years ago with a contemporary art space.
O’s Gallery
— A cozy lakeside café-gallery, where modern design meets an artistic atmosphere and the peaceful silence of nature.
